SERVICES AVAILABLE

1) Youth Project Support. Many of the youth projects that WE are involved in are still running, such as Otautahi Youth Council, WE Care, Regeneration Canterbury, and music events run by the youth. White Elephant are still able to offer support to young people who have a plan, and just need a bit of help with getting it going. This covers planning, budgeting, execution and evaluation.

2) Event Planning. WE are still helping people to plan and run events that benefit the young people in Christchurch. This includes music events, youth forums, and social gatherings.

3) Mobile Fleet. WE are currently working to unite a group of similar organisations in a mobile service initiative. By identifying several suitable hubs within suburban Christchurch communities, White Elephant and whoever else is keen to get on board, will be able to deliver our normal services in locations which make it as easy as possible for young people to attend.

WHAT WE NEED

We need to obtain several vans in order to be able to offer our services in the locations that they are most needed. Some of our normal services require being able to move a lot of equipment, so suitable transport for that, and for several people is essential.
